Fat Loss Tip – Eat And Lose Fat
Kathy Burns-Millyard asked:
“Eat and Lost Fat” Sounds contradictory doesn’t it? But believe it or not, it’s actually a tried and true method of losing body fat quickly. And there are many reasons this works.
First and foremost, you can actually eat more food, and eat that food more frequently, yet still lose fat from everywhere on your body. The trick of course, is eating the right things. So let’s look at both eating more and eating more frequently, to see how it helps you lose fat.
1. Eat More Frequently – This is actually one of the best ways to lose fat. Instead of eating two or three large meals each day, you should instead try to eat five or six meals each day. And there are a couple of reasons for doing so.
When you eat five or six meals each day, you’ll find yourself eating less at every sitting because it’s only been a few hours since you last ate. You have not let yourself wait so long that you’re feeling starved either, and because of this you’re much less likely to overeat.
Eating more frequently has a couple of other excellent effects on the body though. It helps keep your blood sugar levels more even, and that helps to keep you from craving sweets and junk food. Eating more often also keeps your body constantly processing the foods, thus it’s expending more energy in the whole digestive process… all day long.
2. Eat More Food – This is another fat loss technique that many people have a difficult time believing. It’s a common misconception that the only way to lose weight or lose fat is to eat less food. The problem though, is that if you reduce your food intake too much, your body thinks you’re going through a starvation period. So it will shut down any activity it can, in order to preserve as much as possible. And this means it will convert most of the foods you eat into fat.
Eating more often on the other hand, triggers your body into actually using the foods you’re giving it. When you eat plenty of food, the body assumes you have plenty more coming in the near future, thus it does not feel the need to store everything you give it. So it will happily and freely use the foods for energy and other maintenance processes.
Just eating more food is not always wise though, because too often the foods that are eaten more are bad foods to begin with. Eating more doughnuts and candy bars is not going to help your body burn fat.
Eating more of the right foods though, is the true secret. You can eat as much as you want of fruits, vegetables, salads, lean and healthy meat, nuts, and so on in fact… as long as you don’t stuff yourself. Just eat until you’re satiated, then stop. And do that again five or six times each day. You’ll eat more overall, you’ll feel happier and less deprived, and you’ll burn fat too.
